News from Short Track UK about a UK Ashpalt flat track series. It's going to be televised, but it seems a bit of shame that a lot of people will think this is flat track, when it won't be as dramatic as UK racing on dirt, but I don't suppose you can look a gift horse in the mouth. Entries close soon.Dave Stewart of Thundersport GB is running a mini winter series for supermoto at Donnington Park on the December 5th and Mallory on Jan 16th. We've been in talks with Dave and he is willing to run a Shorttrack Class at both rounds. The tracks will be on Tarmac but the good news is it will be an oval, so we can still run without a front brake. Both rounds will be covered on Eurosport TV and there is Prize Fund up for grabs.
To Run the Class we must have at least 20 confirmed riders for the events. The entry fees are £85 per round ( cheaper than a track day), an ACU Shorttrack licence will cover you for the event or you can take a one day licence out. If you wish to ride please contact the Shorttrack office (01673 878426) no later than 16th November.
