Brockville Ontario Speedway: Report, Results - August 12, 2010

BROCKVILLE, ON - Differerent car, same result for Tim Fuller.  The talented driver from Edwards, NY returned to Brockville Ontario Speedway in a late model and scored an impressive win in the Boston Pizza-BOB FM 50 for the All Star Late Model Series on Thursday night.   The win was Fuller's second in as many nights in Canada and netted him another 5,000 dollar payday.

Fuller set fast time in qualifying but it was Jared Miley and Boom Briggs setting the pace in the early going of the feature.  Fuller stayed with the leaders until the halfway mark and then it was hammer time for the former Modified pilot and DIRT champion as he rocketed away from the field in the final 25 circuits lapping up to the top six.   Gregg Satterlee was second.  Miley who lost the lead when Fuller trapped him in lapped traffic was third followed by All Star regulars Rob Blair and Briggs.   Trenton's Charlie Sandercock led a solid group of Eastern Ontario pilots as Brighton Speedway regulars came out in huge numbers to support the event.

Shane Pecore picked up his first win of the season in the 25 lap Sportsman event.  Pecore avoided some hard wrecks in the early laps and then blew past Jessica Power on a mid race restart to grab the lead.  He was then able to pull away on every restart the rest of the way for the win.  Power put in her best result of the season as well coming home second in front of points leader Mike Mainse, Dylan Evoy and Adam Turner.

Kevin Fetterly put another notch on his winning belt at Brockville taking the 15 lap Street Stock event.  Fetterly was able to get past early leader Danny Mocibob on turn 4 and pulled away in the final five laps.   Kevin McRae got past as well for second, followed by Mocibob, Darrick Eaton and Steve Kearney.   Brockville Ontario Speedway returns to action on Saturday night, August 14th with a full program plus the Vintage cars in action.  The green flag drops at 7pm.
